Southern Butter Keeper

Always have spreadable butter at hand. This pottery dish is specially designed to hold half pound of butter in the bowl section. In an air conditioned house, it can be left on the table to be served with bread. The cover design is from the Bluebird Collection, featuring brown, green and blue to represent the Earth, grass and sky. Notice tiny bluebirds in the sky. Created by the Pfeiffers in their pottery studio in Elkmont, Alabama, this dish and lid are oven, microwave, dishwasher and food safe.
