Fine Silver Necklace

We love the design of this silver necklace handcrafted by Alabama jewelry designers Jack and Jean Lincoln.  The silver pendant is shaped to create a fold through which the chain is strung.  A special touch is the wrapped ball that hangs down.  Jack and Jean are a part of a thriving artist community in Pell City and are known for their unique metal jewelry.  Jack is a formally trained Silversmith.  They begin their designs by sketching a design, then making a trial piece from scrap metal.  Once satisfied, they select the desired metal and begin handcrafting by hammering, bending, forging, texturizing, sizing, grinding, drilling, polishing, and finally, adding a protective coating.   This necklace was made using fine silver.
