Hand Crafted Wine Stopper

This beautiful wooden and chrome wine stopper is made by wood turner Don Freriks of Birmingham, Alabama. The wood handles are turned, sanded, and polished until they have a wonderful sheen and feel like sleek marble. Don makes these one at a time by hand and chooses wood that offers impressive grain patterns. The chrome insert features a tapered Silicon rubber ring which seals the bottle, and unlike traditional cork stoppers, the chrome stoppers will not transfer taste and smell to other bottles.
