Huntsville Map Necklace

Huntsville, a beautiful city located in north Alabama. Known as “The Rocket City”, Huntsville’s space technology put this city “on the map”. This necklace is a creation of Mandy Majerik, a Birmingham, Alabama, artist known for her mixed media and collage work. For her jewelry collection, she combines graphic art with a unique combination of found objects, such as beads and buttons, along with wire and capiz shells to create extraordinary “wearable art”. As Mandy shared with us, “I produce pieces through a process beginning with self discovery. I have fallen in love with creating unique designs tailored to different cities, attractions, and people’s lives”. All necklaces come boxed with a personal note from the artist.
