Little Women Note Cards

Amy Collins is a painter and illustrator in Birmingham, Alabama. She created this set of cards from a combination of drawing, painting and paper assemblage. Each one in this set of 6 is a unique collage loosely based on passages from Louisa May Alcott’s book Little Women. Amy has taken these passages written years ago and interpreted them to fit these contemporary collages. A couple of examples: Housekeeping - “I never enjoyed housekeeping, and I’m going to take a vacation today and read, write, and amuse myself.” Tennis Queen (pictured)– “Her little airs and graces were much admired, as were accomplishments…” The cards come packaged with envelopes and tied with raffia.
