Lynne Killion, a Birmingham, Alabama, seasoned potter and nature lover, created this beautiful pottery plate inspired by Alabama’s official state tree, the Southern Longleaf Pine. For the needle effect, Lynne presses longleaf pine needles in the clay while still moist, removes the needles, and then high fires the piece. Food and dishwasher safe. Dimensions, 8” x 8”.
