Those familiar with Chris Clark’s work know one of his favorite themes is crosses. He was inspired by a dream ten years ago, and he is passionate about making crosses to this day. Born and raised in the Ensley area of Birmingham, Alabama, his grandmother had a major influence on Chris’ beliefs and the type of art he creates. He is a deeply spiritual person, which is reflective in much of his work. These crosses are made from a tree called The Tree of Heaven, which is similar to bamboo. Chris creates a design using brightly colored paint and applies a decorative object. Signed by the artist. Ships in 15 days.
