The Protective Cross, a symbol of faith and salvation, is created by Kay Williams, an artist in Birmingham, Alabama. Rich colors exemplifying protection, enlightenment, hope are used in this wonderful design. Kay hand cuts wood, applies acrylic paints in bright colors, and adorns with beads. A varnish is used to protect the finish. Art and religion have been a major part of Kay’s life since she was young. She is known for experimenting with color and emotion. Size 7” x 10”.
